Sanyog Rathod Presents at the Midwest Regional Sustainability Summit

Sanyog Rathod, President and CEO of Sol design + consulting, presented at the Midwest Regional Sustainability Summit in the session “Breaking the Cycle of Poverty – Two Generations at a Time,” alongside David Thompson from Model Group and Felicity Sullivan from HER Cincinnati.

The panel discussed the lessons that can be learned from the Cincinnati Scholar House, a 44-unit LEED Platinum development that's making a difference in Walnut Hills. This LEED Platinum development provides safe, affordable housing to single parents pursuing a college degree, with on-site childcare and supportive services. The session covered how the project came together and how it's breaking the cycle of poverty and serving as a model for sustainable, equitable housing.
