As an Energy Engineer, Jody loves diving into the testing, diagnostics, and analysis that makes a building perform at it’s best. She helps clients navigate the world of green building with clarity and confidence. You might be surprised to learn that Jody's professional path includes teaching mathematics to students from 6th grade to graduate level, and a career as an electrical engineer focusing on signal integrity for a major electronics manufacturer. This diverse background, coupled with her Lean/Six Sigma Blackbelt, means she's a pro at understanding complex systems and data and efficiency.

Her personal journey into green building started with a hands-on project: building her own home in Wisconsin! This sparked a deep commitment to sustainable practices. Now, she combines her passion for efficiency, her analytical strengths, and her natural ability to teach to ensure clients truly grasp green building fundamentals and reach their certification targets. When she's not optimizing energy use, Jody enjoys practicing Ryu Kyu No Te Karate and Modern Arnis, and making sure she carves out time for fun with her three grandkids every single week.
